We look after the baths all day, every day, to the highest hygiene and sanitation standards.
Every part of the baths follows a strict and meticulous cleaning protocol, in line with New York City and New York State health regulations. Everything you use is cleaned and sanitized.

A strict protocol:
Sauna, steam room and banya:
Each thermal room is cleaned and sanitized on a set schedule through the day and deep-cleaned every night, under the same strict protocol and health regulations.

Our pool and cold plunge are filtered and treated continuously, and the water is tested throughout the day. [Water chemistry, treatment system and testing schedule — to be added.]

Water:
Every pair is washed and sanitized after each use.

Sandals:
Every towel is used once, then washed and sanitized by one of New York's leading commercial laundries.

Towels:
Our team checks the thermal rooms, showers and locker rooms through opening hours, wiping down benches, handles and shared surfaces.

Throughout the day:
After close, the baths are deep-cleaned from the entrance to the pool deck: thermal rooms, benches, showers, locker rooms and floors.

Every night:
Our thermalists, bath attendants, facility technicians and managers are all CPR certified. If you have a question while you're here, ask any of us.
